A story created by Ahmed Ishan (Dinba), who participated in the Moodhu Maakandhu Festival, Held at AA. Ukulhas in 2015.

Emmenge in partnership with IUCN Maldives held a Vaahaka Hedhun; a story making workshop, by inviting artists from across disciplines to create stories at Ukulhas during the festival period. Artists resided on the island for two days collecting and creating the stories.

“Moodhu-Maakan’du Fest 2015″ (word derived from the local language, Dhivehi – “Moodhu” means The Sea, “Maa-kan’du” means the Open Ocean) is a one-day annual festival hosted by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Maldives Marine Projects in association with the Government of the Maldives, Alif Alif Atoll council and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
